Data requests

Version 0.1 (draft outline) - effective date not set. Previous versions

Draft outline for counsel. Not the binding text. The procedure follows FABLE-045 steps 28 and 36 and the account-deletion design (FABLE-048); the self-service steps exist only once those are built.
  1. Export your own data from the application. The export holds only your data. [step 36]
  2. Correct it in the application: profile fields yourself; financial records by voiding and correcting, which keeps both the original and the correction visible.
  3. Delete your account in the application. Some situations block deletion until they are resolved: you are the only owner of a household that still has members; you owe or are owed money on an open trip; a claim period is open. Each has an erasure answer. [FABLE-048]
  4. Anything else, or if you cannot sign in: write to [email protected] [step 02] from the address on the account, say what you want, and we answer within [days]. We may ask you to confirm you are the account holder; we never ask for a password.

What stays after deletion

Audit rows, which are never deleted; other people's records that name you (the expense they recorded still says you were there); and backups, for 14 days.
